Scheduling Coordinator

Job Summary: The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling of services for clients, ensuring effective communication between clients, caregivers, and the agency. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule appointments for clients and caregivers based on availability and client needs.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records and databases.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and caregivers to confirm appointments, address scheduling conflicts, and adjust schedules as necessary.

  • Assist in the onboarding of new clients by gathering necessary information and establishing service schedules.

  • Monitor compliance with agency policies and procedures in scheduling practices.

  • Generate reports related to scheduling and service delivery, providing insights to management as needed.

  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to scheduling promptly and professionally.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the seamless delivery of services to clients.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.

  • Prior experience in scheduling or administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare or service-oriented setting.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in computer software applications, including scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Working Conditions: The Scheduling Coordinator will primarily work in an office environment and may require occasional remote work. Flexibility may be required to accommodate client needs.

Physical Requirements: This position may require the ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer.
